Meaning: O son of Prtha, those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature. They are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme  Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible.

31 March 2018 is the last day to file Income tax return for FY 2016-17 (Law is changed now)


ITR Filling due date for Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for AY 2016-17 (FY 2015-16) and AY 2017-18 (FY 2016-17) will be 31st March 2018. This is the last chance as Law is changed now.

As per section 139(4)

[(4) Any person who has not furnished a return within the time allowed to him under sub-section (1), may furnish the return for any previous year at any time before the end of the relevant assessment year or before the completion of the assessment, whichever is earlier.]

Substituted by the Finance Act, 2016, w.e.f. 1-4-2017.

Old provision:

Section 139(4)

“(4) Any person who has not furnished a return within the time allowed to him under sub-section (1), or within the time allowed under a notice issued under sub-section (1) of section 142, may furnish the return for any previous year at any time before the expiry of one year from the end of the relevant assessment year or before the completion of the assessment, whichever is earlier :
Provided that where the return relates to a previous year relevant to the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1988, or any earlier assessment year, the reference to one year aforesaid shall be construed as a reference to two years from the end of the relevant assessment year.”

**** The creation, maintenance and annihilation of this material cosmic manifestation are completely  dependent  on the supreme  will of the Personality of Godhead.
