CBDT extends date for linking of Aadhaar with PAN
Under the provisions of recently introduced section 139AA of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (the Act), with effect from 01.07.2017, all taxpayers having Aadhaar Number or Enrolment Number are required to link the same with Permanent Account Number (PAN). In view of the difficulties faced by some of the taxpayers in the process, the date for linking of Aadhaar with PAN was initially extended till 31st August, 2017 which was further extended upto 31st December, 2017.
It has come to notice that some of the taxpayers have not yet completed the linking of PAN with Aadhaar. Therefore, to facilitate the process of linking, it has been decided to further extend the time for linking of Aadhaar with PAN till 31.03.2018.

Order under Section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961
Under the provisions of recently introduced section 139AA of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (`Ace), with effect from 01.07.2017, all taxpayers having Aadhaar Number or Enrolment Number are required to link it with PAN Number for filing the tax return. The said provision was relaxed by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (‘CBDT’) vide its order(s) dated 31.07.2017 & 31.08.2017, in file of even number, wherein further time till 31.12.2017 was allowed to the taxpayers to link Aadhaar with PAN.
On further consideration of the matter, CBDT, in exercise of powers conferred under section 119 of the Act, extends the time for linking Aadhaar with PAN till 31.03.2018.

sarvatra sama -darsanah

Meaning:

A true yogi observes Me in all beings and also sees every beings in Me.
Indeed, the self-realized person  sees Me, the same Supreme lord, everywhere.

Yunjaan evam sadatmanam
Yogi vigata- kalash
Sukhena brahma – samparsam

Meaning:

Thus the self controlled yogi, constantly engaged in yoga practice, becomes free from all material contamination and achives the highest stage of perfect happiness in Transcendental loving service to the Lord.

Meaning: From wherever the mind wanders due to its flickering and unsteady nature, one must certainly withdraw it and bring it back under the control of the self.

***In transcendental sense happiness, the senses are engaged in the service of Hrsikesa, or the supreme owner of the senses-Krsna(divine). Serving Krsna(divine) with purified senses is called Krsna(divine) consciousness.That is the way of bringing the senses under full control.

Meaning: Gradually, step by step, one should become situated in trance by means of intelligence sustained by full conviction, and thus the mind should be fixed on the self alone and should think of nothing else.

Meaning: One should engage oneself in the practice of yoga with determination and faith and not be deviated from the path. One should abandon, without exception, all material desires born of mental speculation and thus control all the senses on all sides by the mind.

Meaning: In the stage of perfection called trance, or samadhi, one’s mind is completely restrained  from material mental activities by practice of yoga.This perfection is characterised by one’s ability to see the self by the pure mind and to relish and rejoice in the self. In that joyous state, one is situated in boundless transcendental happiness, realized through transcendental senses.Established thus, one never departs from the truth, and upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain. Being situated in such a position, one is never shaken, even in the midst of greatest difficulty. This indeed is actual freedom from all miseries arising from material contact.
